Boss Rv 2 Vs Rv 3

And the rv 3 has even longer delay times than a dd 3.
Boss rv 2 vs rv 3. Just no hold but stereo out. Combination digital reverb and delay pedal with studio quality sound. This isn t a rackable piece of gear as it is a stomp box. Offers 4 reverb modes and 3 delay modes with delay time up to 2 000ms.
Thanks for the replies. What could be better for me. Plate is ok but its not the blue sky not the rv 3 either and delay is ok but the rv 3 delay and verb is the cats meow. The boss rv 2 is a digital reverb effects pedal and i believe it was the first reverb pedal made by boss.
I was actually considering a dd 3 to pair with a reverb not necessarily boss as long as it had a plate setting. And rv 3 can double as a dd 3 type delay. The rv 5 is strictly a reverb pedal. The rv 3 is a combination reverb and delay pedal.
And with the tone knob pseudo analog. I find it difficult to use the rv 3 though. It has the standard size and make up that most boss pedals do with a nine volt battery compartment and power supply jack. The pedal has a 1 4 inch input and two 1 4 inch outputs.
No control over the number of repeats but its really grainy and squishy. It offers four different high density reverb modes plus three delay modes offering delay times up to 2 000ms. There is a new pedal out now made by digi tech the rv 7. I don t need fancy reverbs but tis a bummer there s no spring setting.
Since that reverb shootout thread i ve sold the rv 2 and am kind of regrettting it. Both are good sounding pedals however with the rv 3 you are rather limited in fine tuning the effects. The rv 3 is a popular professional quality pedal that can produce reverb delay or both. The rv 3 seems to be the one for me.
